As a church, we are committed to sharing the love and grace of Christ both in word and in deed. Primarily our emphasis is on reaching out to those within our circles of relationships through friendship, service, and love. We hold Friendship Sundays which provide encouraging opportunities for people to invite others to Ambassador. We have several fellowship/friendship building times during the year including a Valentines dinner-date; a Memorial Day picnic; A Father’s Day campout and worship at the lake; and a Fall chili-cookoff, where we encourage people to bring friends. At Easter, we have an Egg Hunt and carnival for the neighborhoods around the school where we meet.
While these events serve to build relationships, we realize and believe that the most effective witness to the reality of the gospel is our lives lived out in dependence, trust and commitment to Christ combined with the proclamation of the good news.
Ambassador seeks to have an impact not just in our community, but around the world as well. We actively support several missionaries in countries around the world, as well as several local ministries serving in areas such as mercy ministry to the poor, campus ministry, crisis-pregnancy ministry, and others. We have several members involved in full-time ministry as well as having supported short term trips.
