Missions

Our Purpose

The purpose of missions at Ambassador is to declare the greatness of the glory of God to those who are apart from Christ, whether across the street or across the globe. To carry out this vision, we promote the following values:

  • Every believer has been called by God to be an ambassador for Jesus Christ and is thereby on mission with God to spread the gospel throughout the world.
  • Every believer has been equipped by God with the message and ministry of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18-21); a message and ministry modeled for us by the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • Every believer has been sent by God into the world to spread the glory of His greatness. While some may be sent to a particular mission field in a native or foreign land, others are sent into their everyday homes, schools, workplaces, social settings, and communities.
  • Every believer has been called upon to support the mission efforts of the church, whether it be through their tithe, their offerings, their material possessions, their prayers, or even their very own lives.

Missions Committee

Ambassador also designates a significant portion of its yearly annual budget to support missionaries and missionary agencies both locally, regionally, and internationally. As a church we currently support individuals doing gospel ministry in the following areas:
