Children

Children are a gift from God and are precious to us and to Jesus. We are blessed at Ambassador to have many young families, and children are a vital part of our family. The purpose of our children’s ministry is to assist parents in the spiritual nurture of their children by providing a loving, caring, safe, clean atmosphere that show children that they are important to God and us; by teaching children God’s word in a way that they can understand it as true and meaningful to their daily lives; and by equipping parents to be spiritual nurturers in their homes and providing biblical guidance and resources. Currently, we offer the following ministry to children.

Nursery/2′s & 3′s: On Sunday mornings, we provide a safe, caring, loving nursery for infants up to two years old, as well as a class for 2′s & 3′s during the entire service. Our nursery volunteers and 2′s & 3′s teachers make every effort to show love and care for your child and to insure quality care for them while you worship.

Sunday School: We offer Sunday School programs for both children and adults.   All Sunday school classes begin at 9:00 am.

  • Pre-K – Kindergarten
  • 1st – 2nd grade
  • 3rd – 5th grade
  • Jr. High
  • Sr. High
  • Adult

Children’s Church: Children ages PreK-2nd grade remain in the worship service with their parents for the beginning of the service. At an appropriate point, they may leave for an age appropriate class that includes a lesson, crafts, and snacks. Children are also welcome to remain in the service with their parents.

Youth: Our Jr. and Sr. High kids meet about twice a month for fellowship and growing together.  These times include fun activities as well as opportunities for discipleship, outreach and service.  There are several weekend retreat opportunities during the year as well.  Both of these groups are led by a strong group of volunteer leaders.   We are in the process of growing this ministry to youth as God brings more and more young people into our fellowship.
