Fall Adult Foundations Class:
Gospel Alignment: Believing its Grace...Walking its Path in Grace
This fall, Ambassador is excited to welcome Rev. Eddie Brown to teach our Adult Foundations class.

Eddie has taught this course in various forms over the past twenty-five years. Though it doesn’t include everything we need to know about the Christian life, it has been called life changing by many who have taken it. The basic aim of the course is to hold the gospel in our face until we “cry uncle”! Topics for study include our adoption as God’s sons and daughters as we are united to Christ, the passive and active righteousness of faith, repentance and forgiveness, grace and law in the home, faith expressing itself in love, and grace and the spiritual disciplines of the Christian. As a class, we will study the Scriptures well and connect them not only to our minds, but to our hearts through stories and exercises together. As a result, we will grow in Christ that God may be glorified as we study together.

Eddie Brown is an ordained minister in the PCA and has worked in the inner-city of Newark, NJ, as a pastor at Peace Presbyterian Church in Cary, as a missionary in Kenya, as a church planter, and now has a ministry to pastors. He and his wife, Gail, have been married for 40 years and have two grown children.

Mission Kids

3:30 p.m.

Time3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Location

DescriptionMission Kids, a ministry for 2nd through 6th graders, lives out God’s call to serve through helping others. They strive to cultivate hearts that are passionate about serving while having fun in the process! This group meets at the church one Sunday a month from 3:30-5:00. Each month focuses on a service related activity designed to reach out to different needs/people groups such as orphans, the elderly, the homeless, the sick, the hungry, the military, and even those just born. We have
projects that minister both to local organizations in the Triangle and some that will go overseas, bringing both hope and the gospel message with it. We also have a time of worship and a short devotion that ties in with each month’s project. Children in grades 2-6 are encouraged to bring a friend and join us.
