Update from Mexico

APC-MexicoTeam
After a flight delay in Dallas, our team arrived safely in Rio Verde at about 3 a.m. on Sunday.  After a few hours sleep we awoke to a beautiful morning.  We attended three services on Sunday, with our team sharing a few worship songs at each.  Melvin, Kevin and Caroline each shared moving testimonies, and I was able to preach at the afternoon service.  What a blessing to worship with our Mexican brothers and sisters.

Our work the past two days has been digging a pipe trench to bring water to a couple of the camps dormitories.  We’ve also roofed and wired the pumphouse.  Last night we were able to share our faith with a number of people at the plaza.  Aimee painted faces for children and we were able to have numerous conversations thanks to our able interpreter, Marial, a 15 year old young woman who has fit right in with our group, even staying with us in the cabins.  God has blessed our trip abundantly so far.  Pray for us as we go the next couple of days to help with children’s clubs in the surrounding village areas.

If you want a more detailed update, check out the daily blog that Huntley is sending via blackberry (he’s been up late at night texting away) at www.WorldWitnessShortTerm.com.   Many thanks for your prayers and support.
