At Ambassador, we seek to glorify God and make a visible impact in the lives of people by building a family of believers who know God personally, worship God joyfully, care for each other sincerely, and reach out to others purposefully through the transforming power of the good news about Jesus Christ.
We want to glorify God
Our main goal is not to make ourselves look good or to try to be the most popular ministry around. Our main goal is to bring honor and glory to an awesome God. We want all that we do to reflect the wonderful nature and character of our heavenly Father and to give Him all the praise. That is indeed our chief end in life.
We want to make a visible impact in the lives of people
It is people that matter to God, and we know that a relationship with Him will transform a person’s life in such a way that it has true joy, meaning, purpose, and fulfillment that cannot be found anywhere else.
We want to build a family of believers who…
- Worship God joyfully: When you really love someone, it brings you great joy to tell them and show them how much you love them. Worship is simply letting God know how wonderful He is and how much we love Him. In doing so it brings us great joy. We want people to know and experience the true joy of worshipping God.
- Care for each other sincerely: It’s easy to say you care for someone, but a bit more difficult to demonstrate the sincerity of that care through our actions. Jesus said that the mark of his disciples would be their love for each other. We want to build friendships that manifest genuine care and concern for the physical and spiritual health and welfare of each other. We want people to know and experience the true joy of caring for one another.
- Reach out to others purposefully: If you’ve got great news, you usually can’t wait to tell others about it. We want to see every arena in life as an opportunity to be an ambassador for Christ, and to be equipped to minister to others in both word and deeds using their God-given gifts. We want people to know and experience the true joy of serving others.
We rely on the transforming power of the good news (gospel) of Jesus Christ
We can try all kinds of methods and programs to make our lives and our society better, but it is only when we admit our limitations and trust in God’s forgiveness through Jesus Christ that God’s power will work through us to do His will in our lives, our culture and our world.
