Warren and his wife Cathy moved to Apex in 1997 to begin the work at Ambassador. Warren and Cathy met at the University of Virginia, and have been married 26 years. They have four grown sons and a daughter-in-law. Warren earned his Masters of Divinity degree from Columbia International University. He loves people and has a passion to see lives changed by the love of Christ and the power of God's word. As a husband and father, he has a deep commitment to the family, and an understanding of the pressures faced in marriage and parenting. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys hunting, fishing, boating and spending time with family anywhere outside, preferably near water. He's a baseball nut and coaches a varsity homeschool baseball team in his spare time.
Dan was born and raised in southern Illinois before moving to North Carolina in 2004. After an eight year career in molecular biology after college, he followed the Lord’s call into full time ministry. He holds a Master of Divinity degree from Reformed Theological Seminary and joined the staff at Ambassador in November 2010. Dan is committed to teaching God’s Word and leading the people of God to see and embrace the glory of Christ in every aspect of their lives within the context of a passionate and purposeful gospel community. Dan is married to Megan (an RN at UNC Hospital) and they have two children, Abby Kate and Benjamin. He enjoys spending time with his family, teaching (both in the church and in the community), reading, music, and St. Louis Cardinals baseball.
Originally from the northeast, Jennifer has been in the south for 18 years and now calls North Carolina home. Jennifer began working at Ambassador in 2011 as our administrative assistant after many years of teaching and working in a library. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and baking for others and being a baseball mom. Jennifer and her son Ethan live in Apex and are thankful to be part of the Ambassador family.
Director of Student Ministry
Xan (pronounced "Zan") was born and raised in Cary. While attending North Carolina State University, Xan first felt God calling him to ministry, and spent the next 3 years volunteering in youth ministry. After graduating in 2010, he moved to Charlotte to attend Reformed Theological Seminary. Xan earned his Master of Divinity degree in May 2015, and joined the staff at Ambassador in November 2015. Xan has a passion for youth ministry and loves to see students start to wrestle with and grasp the truths of God's Word for themselves. In his free time he loves both watching and playing basketball, and is a lifelong NC State Wolfpack fan. Xan is a bit of a film nerd, and enjoys watching TV and movies. He's an avid game player, both board games and video games. He also performs close up magic, and always has a deck of cards on hand.
Director of Children's Ministry
Rachel is originally from North Carolina, born in Raleigh and raised in Cary. She attended Cary Christian School from elementary to high school. She graduated from Wingate University in 2010 with a Human Services degree. Rachel has been working with children for over 10 years and loves teaching children about the love of Jesus. She enjoys baking, crocheting, spending time with her family and all things coffee!
