Warren Harvey
Warren and his wife Cathy moved to Apex in 1997 to begin the work at Ambassador. They have four sons. Warren received his Masters of Divinity degree from Columbia International University and has a passion to see lives transformed by God through His word and the ministry of His people.
Warren loves to study and teach God’s word, and he loves people. As a husband and father, he has a deep commitment to the family, and an understanding of the pressures on today’s family. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, sports and hiking as well as reading and spending time with his family.
Associate Pastor
Dan Layman
Dan was born and raised in southern Illinois before moving to North Carolina in 2004. After an eight year career in molecular biology after college, he followed the Lord’s call into full time ministry. He holds a Master of Divinity degree from Reformed Theological Seminary and joined the staff at Ambassador in November 2010. Dan is committed to teaching God’s Word and leading the people of God to see and embrace the glory of Christ in every aspect of their lives within the context of a passionate and purposeful gospel community. Dan is married to Megan and they have one daughter and a son born in May 2012. He enjoys spending time with his family, teaching (both in the church and in the community), reading, and music.

Steve Brown
Steve and his wife, Jill, live in Apex. Steve is an engineer with the Town of Cary and Jill works with a large law firm in Raleigh. He and Jill have been coming to Ambassador since 2002.
Tony Clark
Tony and his wife, Dee Dee, came to Ambassador in 2002 along with their six children. They live in Cary, and Tony heads up their optometric practice in Durham.
Jim Compton
Jim and his wife, Terri, live in New Hill and were part of the original core group at Ambassador. They have four children. Jim heads up an engineering firm here in Raleigh.
Don Dyksterhouse
Don and Mary live in Apex. Don is an engineer with Progress Energy and Mary volunteers with various ministries using her skills and knowledge as a trained nurse.
Don Knox
Don and Annette live in Cary where he is a regional director with a local non-profit. They have four children, and also have been at Ambassador since its beginning.
Gary Shearin
Gary and Missy along with their four children live in Raleigh and came to Ambassador early on in our ministry at the invitation of a friend. Gary works with SAS.
